MILWAUKEE – A German professor who is an expert on e-government and Internet economics will speak at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at noon. Reza Ashgari, professor of economics and e-business at the University of Applied Sciences Braunschweig/Wolfenbuettel, will speak in room 521 of Bolton Hall, 3210 N. Maryland Ave..
Ashgari is director of the university’s E-Government Academy and also of the Institute of E-business, which he founded in 2002. “The way we live our lives is changing because of the information society,” he says. “It is changing our economies, our society and even politics.”
